debian problem with locale

locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory
locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory
I tried setting the locales with:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales

and on raspberry pi with:
sudo raspi-config

But it still didn’t work. You actually need to change the ssh client settings from the computuer where you are connecting from.

Change in:

#SendEnv LANG LC_*

How to use PowerShell help

The powershell help is actually very powerful. But most people don’t know how to use it and prefer to search in google. This approach will take you much more time.
To actually get the help in powershell you need to first download the help from the internet.

Update-Help –Force

If you don’t use the force command it allows you to download the help just every 24 hours.

After that you can run following commands with wildcards:
Help *Get-Service* –Full
Help *Get-Service* –Example
Help *Get-Service* –ShowWindow
Help *Get-Service* –Online

Syntax Description

Optional Parameters
All Parameters between [] are optional

Positional Parameter
You could run the command e.g. Get-Service without “–Name” like Get-Service WinRM and it would still work if the parameter is at the beginning. You can recognize this command because it is between [] bracket without the data type.

1, 2, 3
You have three different choices how to run the command.

How to install a new Habit?

It doesn’t matter if you want to improve your fitness level or you want to make a habit of flossing your teeth each evening after brushing; the method is always the same. They say, you need at least to do it for 30 days to make it stick and this is how you I did it.

1. Make a fix schedule or trigger (like a certain time or event)
2. Create a checklist for 90 days and cross each day off you have passed

Now the key to everything is the 3. point.

3. Stick with it. Do it all the time it doesn’t matter what happens. NO EXCUSE. There will be always a better time to do it etc. This is sooooo key;-)

Shutdown Computer Remotely

We sometimes have fun at work and shut down each others computer;-)
I think you need to have domain admin rights to do so. If you are not logged in as domain admin you can run the “cmd.exe” with Shift+Right Click and “Run As” Domain Admin Login + Password.

Here the command:
